The Studio

 

The studio is located in the Historic Garden District in Baton Rouge, Louisiana near LSU campus, and easy access from Government Street, Perkins Road, or Highland Road. Parking is limited to the street and driveway.

 

The teaching room is located in front of the driveway. It is a separate studio space which is decorated with various kinds of instruments and arts. Students must wash their hands before lesson and no food or drinks are allowed during lessons. 

 

The studio is fully equipped with Yamaha pianos. A new hybrid piano has characteristics of both acoustic and digital pianos that can provide record/playback capability, Synthesizer and audio sound capability. iPad connectivity also allows to use music software including piano methods, music composition, and theory builder. A Yamaha U-1 acoustic upright piano is a professional grade piano that provides outstanding tone, touch, and durability. Students can learn various aspects that are not easily matched in a digital piano. Piano is tuned, cleaned, and maintained professionally by Ducharme's Piano Service.
